Austin » Austin Symphonic Band .. "Community in Concert!"
The award-winning Austin Symphonic Band presents symphonic band literature at various sites in and around Austin, Texas. In addition, the band is in constant demand as a demonstration ensemble, performing by invitation at the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic [twice], the American Bandmasters Association annual conference, the National Band Association Conference, and Texas Bandmasters Association and Texas Music Educators Association events. The majority of the band's concerts are free and open to the public. Richard Floyd, Director of Music Activites for the University Interscholastic League, is Music Director and Conductor.
